JRPG's are as dead, in America, as the Dreamcast. Sad, but true. I miss Phantasy Star, Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue, and Shining Force.
I will admit to buying multiple renditions of Madden since then because its the only NFL licensed game, and Mass Effect and Dragon Age but thats only because EA bought Bioware.
Ive been boycotting EA since they doomed the Dreamcast by not releasing games like Madden for it allowing PS2 to dominate.
I thought they turned a corner with EAAccess, but Battlefront just shows how anti-consumer they are.
Puh lease. Split screen died when broadband became mainstream. If you can't afford a Hdtv and broadband then play the 360 or ps3. Stop holding back the rest of us by catering to the lowest common denominator. Cater to the elites like me who actually keep your system afloat.
Just wait for the inevitable UbiSoft price drop. It will be $30 about 3-4 weeks after release but I'm all digital and will have to wait 4-6 months.

New update bricked my system. Spent 4 hours with Xbox support to fix. Had to download factory reset settings and the new update to a sub flash drive. Erased my internal HD. Thankfully I had games saved to my new Toy to external HD.
I'm thankful for N4G because they satiate my desire for all news related to my favorite hobby, video gaming. The site always seem to have something relevant.
