The way Monkey moves is weird, kinda laggy and baked not natural or fluent. Its nowhere near the way Drake or Cole move.

Most of these games use a hibrid solution, a deferred/forward renderer.
The only full g-buffer deferred engines I can remember are the Killzone 2/3 and Stalker/Metro 2033.
Vanquish looks like a hibrid too, deferred for all realtime shadows and lots of dynamic lights. Did anyone spot any glass or other transparent/translucid material in any video?

Thats why the PS3 cant do 1080p60, the HDMI (1.3 or even 1.4) cant handle it!

Sorry, but the gap between 42fps (GOW3) and 25fps is huge in input latency.
You will feel that really, 25fps is way too slow for a action smashing button game, that's a reality.
