And Blu-ray will become the dominant format once the movie studios decide to stop making DVDs. Its the same thing they did with DVD and VHS. DVD only became king after the movie studios decided to kill off VHS. Its only a matter of time before DVD goes the same route.

Cause you know MS dropped big $$ on getting all this content exclusive. Id bet that this will be the last deal Square does with MS if this games gets out sold on the PS3.

LOL.....This isnt DLC. This is content from the game that they didnt have room for. So instead of putting it on another disk, theyre gonna make you download it.

Why? So it can struggle to get name recognition and be terribly expensive just like what happend with Blu-ray? Doubt it. Sony has learned theyre lessons of creating new formats for the hell of it. And now that Blu-ray is expanding its storage space theres no need for something that will do the same thing(more space). And if not, its gonna be the launch of the PS3 all over again. Sony cant take the chance of having the most expensive console again, and a new optical format will cause it...
Yeah, I feel the same way. I dont think they have the tech yet to make the graphical leaps like they have with the past consoles. I dont really care to buy a new console if all were gonna get is something that looks like crysis or a little better.
Not if its bug-riddled like Fallout 3 was.
