Microsoft probably wont allow Skype on the NGP
Personally, GeoHot deserves a punch in the face by the gamer community.
"Here's the rootkey, which sony owns the rights but I should be able to post it with no legal repercussions, now you can do whatever you want with your PS3. Piracy? not my problem."
Sony didn't deserve to get hacked because they defended their Rights, its the equivalent to being beaten for testifying in court. A low blow by anyones standards.
An opinion is an argument, and this argument is full of fallacies.
Plus its more or less flamebait
"PS3’s ability to play blu rays and the occasional game isn’t reason enough to own one."
This guy being one step better than NOGAMES was the only good thing about this article
HD DVD is dead, doubtful that Xbox would to revive it.
OLD news
They're faster and you save to the cartage, thats what I liked most about them. Solid State for the win.
Transfer of ownership is the biggest thing for me when it comes to disks. I hear Valve is working on that though.
Politics shouldn't run the show that much, yes this was a crisis but one for the banks and Sony to be all over.
Some hackers used the DDOS of the network to their advantage. The hacker is from Anonymous, due to their superstructure anyone can claim to be from that group.
But it was the Anonymous' stance on Consumers rights (to pirate games) that put them in such a bad spot.
I got my Wii a year after it came out, had to go to Circut City at 6am. Bought 5 games (Brawl being my favorite) and rented 4 since.
I wish Nintendo focused more on its core group.
Dude, I Ain't trollin', Trouble in Paradise was the only game I wanted for 360 that I couldn't play anywhere else (PC included)
Out of bubbles and cant edit my first so ill say it here. Trouble in Paradise is 360 exclusive, it was essentially Viva Pinata 1.5, probably Rare's best game since Banjo and Perfect Dark
how you believe Sony should have reacted
"Hay guys, sorry for shutting down your PSN, your credit card info may have been stolen, we don't know for sure but we believe you should think that until we know for sure."
Ill probably start using PSN cards too, not because of the hack but because its too tempting just to hit the "Add Funds" button
Mircosoft doesn't have any room to talk, both their hardware and software leave much to be desired.
I got rid of my Xbox for 2 reasons
The RROD made me worry every time I turned the thing on
And my favorite 360 exclusive game was Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise.
if Sega wants to make DreamCast 2, then they'll make it but they have to get the timing right, timing killed the first one
Only if it was replaced with Steamworks
Other OS was tempting when I first bought the console at launch, but in the end all I wanted to do was play games.
It it wasn't treated like a contract, that would be true.
If Sony physically gave away the information, I can see them winning the lawsuit for the full 1 Billion, but Sony was hacked and therefor liable?
Plus if its in the contract then the case will be thrown out, im sick of everyone not reading LAW BINDING contracts and claiming they didnt know what they were reading, since you have to press a button called "Agree" before going to the next page.
Ignorance is no excuse to wastes the courts time and our t...
Would definitely be worth a shot, they could run the Regular PSN and the Steam Based PSN simultaneously so that if one fails, the other will still work. Only bad part is that you need 2 accounts.
