If more people like Ken Levine throw their weight (and financial support) behind Kickstarter projects that are worthy of being developed, the video game industry will be alive and well for many years to come.
Although I have a feeling Kickstarter may bring about a civil war within gaming between indie and traditional developers.
Still, the more games the merrier.
Blah, blah, more power, blah, blah. I'm always excited for a new system (though I don't think Sony needs one right now unless the visuals are absolutely mind blowing). But still, it's always about the games, not how good they look. Oh, and this thing better not cost $700 at launch, or I'll be perfectly satisfied with my PS3 for a couple more years.
I'm Canadian, so I can't vote, but every American should. Just take your Vita or 3DS with you, and then get back to the games afterwards. Definitely go with Assassin's Creed, it just fits perfectly. Good job.

I am finding it very refreshing to grab some supplies, hop on my sloop, and sail out with no other noise than the breeze of the ocean. It's not as humorous and spontaneous as when I'm steering a galleon with friends, but it is comforting and with its own rewards.
