Another one of these articles; well it is very easy to get hits by stirring up the console loyalists.
I don't see the PS3 gaining ground until it gets another price cut. Move hasn't really done much, and now we need to see what effect Kinect has on Xbox 360 sales; if any.
There are still plenty of Move units around here. 1 bestbuy I went to sold out, but various stores around here have plenty of copies. It's nice that Move seems to have gotten off to a decent start. I'm still not sold on it myself, need to see what other games they have to offer, as well as wait for a drop in price.
I am interested to see what the actual sales numbers are.

"It's fine to support whatever console someone wants to but don't convince others of untruths... Thats just what I see from the 360 camp a lot."
This happens just as much from the PS3 camp. You probably just don't notice it, or just believe the same thing so it doesn't bother you or stand out. I do agree with the first part though.
People buy what they want; it's their money. They can spend it how they want. I'm sure there are people that would question some of your purchases as well.
Although it will become the best selling PS3 game to date, once it is released; this has more to do with the recent pricing error right now than anything else.
Not sure how this passes as news.
Natal looks very interesting to me. Not just because of the games that could possibly come from it, but other applications as well. SeNiLe911 gave good examples of some of the things I was thinking about. The possiblities are incredible if done correctly.
Are you seriously saying that you have never read or heard Sony say that the PS3 is better than the Xbox in any way? If you are just referring to this comment, well not yet.
I think FFXIII will sell better on the PS3 than the 360 worldwide, but since this is a response to the NPD, I believe the comment may be about America only. If so, it may be close.
Maybe he is taking in to account all those PS3 fans that claimed they would boycott FFXIII since it was made a multi-platform release. (I kid, but I'm sure many of you have seen these boycott posts when the mutli-platform release was first anounced.)
I'm pretty sure that MS includes their gaming division as part of the Entertainment and Devices Division. I didn't see where it specifically list details on their gaming division from the link you provide. The dip in profit could just mean that they are making less for each Xbox 360 sold and not that they losing money on each system. The Zune is part of that same division and it was hit hard last quarter.
I agree that Greenburg should stop talking about the PS3 and Sony. Just focus on yourselves, however it is just part of business and competition.
Sony is just as guilty of doing this as well. The article is just the same old fanboy stuff, oh your company is worst than my company because it does this and that, but I tend to ignore it or justify it if my company does it. This and that and the circular arguments and hypocrisy that is the staple of fanboyism continues.
"You see google earned their keep on the market by providing the best technology solution, they did not infiltrate into your computer or was bundle with anyting. they reached their spot on their OWN MERITS. The internet is a place where you can roam free. You can choose to us google's engine you can choose to place their ad on your website."
IIRC, installing Google earth installed a bunch of google apps on your computer with no option otherwise. This may have changed, ...
I'm pretty sure that Xbox 360 started outselling the PS3 in September/October. You keep saying everyone forgets that PS3 was outselling the 360 until the price cut, well wasn't that the same the previous year for the 360. I believe it was outselling the PS3 until Sony cut the price. Face it, the PS3 may have sold slightly more for most months of the year, but 360 overcame that and extended their lead even more in a short period of time. It is still outselling the PS3 by a decent margin, s...
Another one of these, eh. I guess we should all be use to these by now.
$20 is a great deal. I'll be picking this up.
It says 360 version, because this is the 360 version. Previous articles point to the 360 getting the metal case and the CD, and the PS3 version getting a video documentary.
Unfortunately, I doubt the limited edition of the US version will be the same price as the regular edition. According to the article the Japanese deluxe and regular versions cost the same. One can always hope.
People saying the PS3 version looking better should look at the same comparsion. The...
I just saw the UK collector's edition of SF IV. I think they got the better deal:

It seems they don't get the music CD, but they get (IMO) a better overall package.
I rather they put a Ken or Chun Li figure in as well. I would definitely get the Xbox 360 version if it had either of those figures.
I rather they have kept the previous cover with Chun Li on it. Ah well, not that big a deal. I will probably get the PS3 version since they have the Blu-ray version of the movie; although I want to see what the C. Viper figure looks like first.
Edit: nvm, I don't like the C. Viper figure much. So unless my friends go for the Xbox 360 version, I'll be getting the PS3 version as well.
pictures of both:
Pretty pathetic spin right there. Fact is they screwed up; did they really expect GT to only have 500k sales? This game should move a few million in the first week, and the servers only support 500k users. There is no excuse for that, one screw up after another. You think they would be better prepared for such a big title.
