I agree. I quite enjoy ark, but if the game was more polished it would be a much more enjoyable experience.
If focusing on one console could help then I can wait. Especially as I expect all the DLC up until that point to be released on the PS5 for the same price.

The reason people are happy it lost is 2 fold.

You're absolutely right. Many people voted for tlou2 for political reasons and not for critique based reasons.
I believe that is why it was ahead initially, because of a coordinated campaign from reeeset era, reddit, pologon, kotaku, etc.
But then Mr. Druckman, as his first action after becoming VP, put out a childish, passive aggressive tweet which went viral and so made more people aware of the online voting.
Yeah, I have no idea why they're partnering up with twitter when that platform is filled mostly with intolerant people that wouldn't play this "transphobic" game if they were paid.
