Too bad it's only online co-op instead of splitscreen though, splitscreen is the only co-op I really care about in most games. I don't have anything against online, but none of my friends have PS3's and playing with a stranger is much less fun. I hope they bundle a good headset in this game or something.

I just wish that was true in real-life settings. I'm the only person among my friends that owns a PS3, and whenever anything PS3-related is mentioned (which barely ever is) everyone just laughs scornfully and acts like they pity me for owning one.

It would be awesome if it's still in development. the target render/trailer looked really cool.
Maybe they're being all secretive in their development and are planning on dropping a big bomb a few months ahead of its release. I would love that, seeing as how many companies release so much info leading up to launch that i see so many previews and gameplay vids that i get bored of the game before it even comes out.

I completely agree with everything you guys have said, this game is so damn good. Oh god, the feeling I got when I punched a guy in the stomach then kicked him in the throat and ran up his chest to snap his neck between my legs was one of the best I've ever gotten from a game. Just...amazing! I think I need a cigarette after that.
actually, im pretty disappointed that U2 will be doing the same style of co-op that R2 did. it would be much better if they had taken that time to put splitscreen into the campaign instead.
im really sad that most co-op games these days are leaning toward online co-op rather than splitscreen; playing with some online guy you don't know just isnt the same as sitting on your couch with a friend. its making gamers into antisocial basement-dwellers
