The POS3 has not outsold the 360 every month this year. Clearly, the 360 outsold it last month and will for the next 2 months and will compete very well even with MGS release. Geezus H, you Phonyites act like Phony is an angel. Every point that Greenberg made is a valid point and you know it.

Long term? How much longer do we have to go? When the POS first hit, there was no competition. Not the case any more. More importantly, the competition just so happens to be one of the biggest and richest companies in the world. Sorry dude, 360 is here to stay, but hey, 2009 may be a better year for you guys.

I for one and I say this very objectively and fairly, do not give 2 squirts of piss about MGS. I have no desire to play an 80 year old man in tights with a machine gun. It will probably sell well, but Gears 2 will easily do better.
The thing that most of the Phonies don't understand is that we are rabid game fans that buy more games because are just better people and though NG won't outsell MGS, it will do extremely well.
Levdog, Resistance 2 or Killzone are hardly big sellers, certainly not Halo 3 or Gears of War-like numbers there at all. The only thing that will muster larger numbers will be MGS, but big freakin' deal, so you have 1 mega hit on your console. Stop fooling yourself- the 360 is a dying breed is a fanboy remark and you can stop the BS any time now. Explain how the 360 still outsells the POS3 with BD? Talk about naive. The POS3 has been out for over a year now and is simply not doing great. So BD won, big deal. Their infrastructure, catalog and roadmap are failing. Keep this is mind, with all of the RROD issues with the 360, Phony is losing to what you Phony folks call a gimpy gaming console. There's a lot to that and it shows that the 360 is a very desired and marketable product, especially considering how hated MS is.

The POS3 version, I guess you can call it a gimpy version that takes 7+ mins to initially install, locks up, is 640p and has absolutely zero MP and ZERO online play, is like a slopped together version for your slopped together movie machine.
AlexM, you need to stop sniffing your POS3's farts and come back to reality.
I won't say this is the best lineup of any year, but NG and Gears 2 are enough for me. The only titles of any meaning coming to the POS3 are MGS and maybe GT5, which won't do as well as everyone thinks. The 360 doesn't need a ton of exclusive titles to continue pounding the movie machine. Alan Wake may sneak into 2008 and don't forget Left4Dead.
