I think it's a good idea. It seems like Sony is aiming to balance power with affordability. I think that's a brilliant move. They also have a choice to launch a PS5 pro for hardcore gamers later

It will affect sales for the series X but shouldn't affect sales for the software since you'll be able to play Halo Infinite on Microsoft whole ecosystem including Xbox one slim

Well since you don't need a Series X to play Microsoft next gen games I'm starting to forget about it. You'll be able to play Halo Infinite on Xbox one slim🤔 forward and backwards compatible at it's full effect. You'll definitely be able to save money though can't complain about that
And Nvidia will counter it with their new GPU'S 😂
