Solid Snake was 33 during the Shadow Moses Incident. He and Liquid were born in 1972..and Shadow Moses takes place in 2005 soo..do the math.
Maybe you should watch the trailer again. You can see when Big Boss turns his head when Skull Face stands up as if he was in a crouched position...plus Chico, Paz, the XOF troops, and the Marines have seen Skull Face. One of the marines tells his buddy he saw a man with a short lever-action rifle strapped to his leg with one of them cowboy hats on. The soldiers in that scene all seemed busy looking at Metal Gear ZEKE or ST-84 to notice Skullz.
My hype for this dropped faster than my balls when that god awful three-headed alien showed up. Why, Treyarch? Why?

As I'm typing this I'm on Act 5 of MGS4 doing a Big Boss Emblem run and let me tell you something....I've never been so close to breaking something out of anger and frustration in my entire life. I think I need to buy a punching bag.
Don't even get me started on the VR missions of MGS2 and MGR..
