well simple
first of all the PS3 is not the most perfect FPS console
its more of a 3rd person shooter styled console even tho you can utilize it for 1st person shooters in a good way
also alot of big playstation games are 3rd person shooters
like uncharted this gen and SOCOM last gen and syphon filter back...
