I think that's a good thing though. Discussing a game with this much detail will help propel video games as being reveived as more than just games. Games and articles like these wilol help games get recognition just like Movies, TV, or Books get.

Once you know the date and in the first half hour you kind of get a sense at how it would turn out. They make it seem like a city dedicated to American history pre-civil war. Although I have to admit I didn't think the city was that dedicated to racism. And I kinda had it spoiled for me when I saw the statue of John Wilkes Booth in a review.

This is something that needs to be revisited years down the line. Personally I think Uncharted 2 will influence quite a bit of developers, but not as much as some other games. Uncharted is more of a revision of action adventure games. Almost like ND perfected the genre. They don't do a lot of new things. Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite will probably be more influential for their stories alone. And there obscure settings. Those games thry new things in the story departmkent.
Yeah once my sub runs out for the US I think I will just go over to EU because this is ridiculously better in EU. They get all these great Triple A big releases and in the west we get indie downloadable games that i could just buy for 10 dollars if i really wanted them. These indie games are hit or miss for me. Some are good some are unplayable. I guess each one appeals to a different type of gamer.

Bioshock will do more for the games industry story wise. It obviously won't be know for its gameplay or even graphics, but it will be remembered for innovating and bringing story telling in video games to new heights. It's like the academy award winning movies.
KH always sells in America. Tales aren't as popular over here. Plus that is on the PS3. The PS Vita doesn't have anywhere close of an install base compare to the PS3.
I love how a lot of people want games to be considered art. For games to be art they need to have deep themes and sometimes underlying messages about our own world. And that is what this article analyzes. Whether he intended these messages or not they can be interpreted to be in the games.

It's been a while since I've enjoyed playing a game so much. I'm not a fan of FPS WRPG's but the story is so well done. I wasn't gonna get it, because I got Bioshock 2 from PS Plus and it was really really boring. But my friend convinced me to get it and I'm glad I did.
The world is deed, rich and absolutely gorgeous. This is easily in my top 5 of this gen. Once I finish it it could very well end up being my #1.
Yeah I watched the first 2 seasons last summer and I was watching them I got mad because I wanted to know what happened next, but I had to take the time to change episodes. I could barely wait ten minutes. Theres no way I would last a full week.

But anyway, I had no intention of buying it until my friend begged me too. And I'm glad he did. I'm not finished or all that far into it, but the characters seem to be growing into relatable characters that I can care for. It is very well written and presented very well too.
The only one I'm really interested in is Thief. I've never played one but it sounds pretty good, and I think its by the people who made Deus Ex HR which i loved.
Well most of the english cast are actually real actors. Like a lot of the Disney characters got their original voice actors. Plus the original KH characters like Sora, Kairi, etc. are all semi-accomplished actors.
That is just sad. The only MLG or E-Sports event I have ever watched is League of Legends. In League of Legends matches or tournament if they make a mistake they just shake it off and give the other team a congratulations. That Call of Duty video was unwathcable. In order to be a "pro" in any video game they should have a certain degree of respect for each other.
