BF is not CoD and the reason why you can play CoD in split screen is because its engine is over 10 years old.
the cod engine is in fact a heavily modified quake 3 engine while the bf3 engine is brand spanking new.

It requires more time, effort and money just to make the ps3 version on par with its 360 counterpart. I don't think any developer prefers the ps3 over the 360.

yeah I know that games sell more on consoles but that is because console gamers think that u must spend over 1000$ to get a decent computer when u really don't need more than 400-600$ to get a computer that kills the ps3 & 360 + it doesn't matter if you spend 1000$ or more on your rig because you'll save money in the long run.

seriously? I have killzone 3 and the singleplayer is linear as **** and only 3-5h long and the multiplayer has poor matchmaking.
the only thing it has over other console shooters is graphics and as a pc gamer I can tell u that killzone 3's visuals are nothing to brag about.
I have a ps3 with LBP2, ratchet and clank, killzone, resistance, sly colletcion etc
I only buy exclusive ps3 games and I play multis on mah pc.

cs on consoles? I would rather play guitar hero with a regular ps3/360 controller than a game like counter strike and I'm 100% serious, and it's the source engine so it will be 30fps also JEEZ! talk about poor man's version.
If you have a gaming pc u wouldn't there isn't any reason to get the console version over a pc version.

It's BS that they'll remove it on newer models though, I prefer the gamecube's smash bros and mario kart for example.
+ Teh only way to play smash bros is with a GC controller too :/ seriously the gc controller is like made for smash bros the classic controller sucks in comparison.
