I would like the hiding skills of Metal Gear's snake, so I could just take a long nap at work under my desk without anyone noticing.
I don't think you can dread a new game from a series which is genuinely brilliant. If developers keep making excellent products which stop people from buying poorly produced tat then I can only see it lifting the quality of all games in the future.
Good list - especially like the GI Joe idea - very amusing - I think we are also missing a Desperate Dan/Red Dead Redemption game!!!
Agent 47 should have been in there but this is a brilliant list - I especially wanted Kratos to be in there - the hardest gaming character ever!!
God of War should be in there - all three are part of "this generation" - and in the 3rd installment, flying up the cracks in the wall with wings was brilliant - and the interactive end scenes with the bosses was on a different level. Also included should have been Metal Gear Solid - come on this was one of the playstation's biggest titles. Agree with Fallout - I was really captured by the whole storyline.
It is amazing how many adverts have come out for computer gaming. They are on tv as much as adverts for films at the cinema - I guess it goes someway to show how popular gaming has become. That advert for the Jaguar is brilliant!!
Nightmare would be genius - FOR WIPEOUT or even....wait for it...takeshis castle, you could create the course for other gamers to play like little big planet does.
I think the kinect really opens up the potential for re-releasing and freshening up old games. The possibilities you highlighted really sound cool. I love the idea of taking on RPG games and massive territorial battles at a fast pace using only the movement of my hands.

I loved Force Unleashed but I am a huge Star Wars Fan and if I was to be impartial I wouldn't have given it a bigger score than mid 70%. Some of the camera angles on it were shocking. Chronicles of Riddick and Gun I completely agree with - brilliant games.
Those Pac-Man oven gloves have just gone on my Christmas list. They are brilliant. They might even encourage me to actually do some cooking.
Agree or disagree, from the way the article has been written, its obvious the author actually believes in what he has said and not just written a controversial piece just to get a lot of hits - that is quite cynical. I agree with the point on Guitar Hero. I couldn’t wait to play this game. After I bought I realised it was nothing like playing the guitar and I didn’t really feel any satisfaction when I completed the song. Also anything above medium difficulty I wish I had 6 fingers.
Only being a PS3 owner, I can only comment on a couple of the games chosen in this list. I agree with Killzone 2, which although was alot of fun to play, was hugely overated especially given the time we had to wait an the hype that surrounded it - the single player mission was way too short. However - I strongly disagree with I have to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Grand Theft Auto IV which are both superb games and additions to my collection.
