Lol, I knew I wasn't the only one thinking that.
"You probably aren't holding the controller right." LMAO
Smh, Faux News strikes again.
*Starts looking for the Twilight Zone exit* I had to have made a wrong turn somewhere.
....seriously, wtf? Talk about idle hands.
I'm going to give it to Sony this year. The PSV coming in with that sweet price of $250 was a very pleasant surprise indeed, and the cross game chat for it is simply too sweet to ignore. Throw in Twisted Metal, UC3, Starhawk, and so forth, and the winner is clear imo.
Ah, thats right. Forgot all about TGS for a sec. Now that I think about it that does make a lot of sense. Still would have liked to see some more info on the console though, but I'm a patient man. I can wait until the release the full details later.
Not bad for preliminary specs, but I want more details. Though I have to say it's promising to see 1080p on the new console.
Agreed, that was a bad move on Nintendo's part. Should have made the console the main focus, and then released the controller info later. Not vice versa. On the plus side Reggie stated they are going to reveal more console info in the coming weeks/months, and that it seems Nintendo has both a price and a launch window already sorted out.
Kinda sorta, but it was mostly tech demos and the like. Or in other words, none of the games they showed are actually playable on the show floor.
Me too, but if you look very closely at the beginning of the promo vid, you can see the new console on the right hand side under the TV. Didn't even notice it until I rewatched the reveal vid.
Alright, it's both a new console, with true online, and a new controller. Consider me a happy gamer.

Phew, had me worried there for a second. Sweet looking new console, with some good looking games. At the very minimum it's a nice update to the Wii, and finally brings Nintendo into the current gen (as far as graphics go).
Looks like a cool new peripheral, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I am quite disappointed. And here I was sitting here expecting some awesome new beastly console. Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read on the internet.
Edit: Ok now I'm a bit confused. The vid they just showed had developers saying a mixture of new console, and new controller. Just a slip up, and are Nintendo still hiding the sweetness for later?
"Do you guys serve breakfast?" Lol, officially interested. It's Insomniac so I'm expecting high levels of awesome.
Lol, I swear I was thinking the same thing as the headline. But this is seriously a sad day for all gamers who own a 360. Once I saw Sesame Street I knew this wasn't going to end well.
Real muthafu**ing talk. This whole mess is a classic example of a knee-jerk reaction by consumers, and the media.
Well played Skynet. Well played. If you can read this you are the resistance.
After I saw Black Ops I had to stop. Any list with that POS game on it has to be garbage.
Interesting, but seeing as this would essentially kill the 360 (and perhaps the Xbox brand) in general I don't see it happening. Though...stranger things have happened...I guess only time will truly tell.
