3d wasn't an advancement like VR if you ask me unless you're talking about 3d world's as found in Super Mario 64. VR for me is much bigger kind of like from books to one day having tv.
Ot: most definitely an advantage which is why even with Scorpio the box will be behind Sony on a exclusives games front.
Well maybe it's getting delayed because like "Inside" it might make an appearance on PS4 right after X1.
But that's just it. VR isn't a gimmick and never has been. Gaming on tv is a gimmick if you ask me. VR brings you inside the world and engages you as if you are part of its universe. I personally want to see it progess and hope it's around always from here out.

That was incredible the way he described feeling like you're in a real car as compared to a TV. You naturally know when to break and crash less frequently. This is totally going to change the way we game in a few years time. Yay for VR
"They are more like experiences than games"
This is how I've felt about Samsungs Gear VR. Some games actually do feel like games, just short ones and of course mostly experiences. For me this is a good thing because I want an experience everytime. Games will come but VR will hopefully always draw us into a more engaged experience everytime.
VR is a huge selling point and added power of course. I prefer gaming on Xbox simply because you get a more refined (focused on more than just single player) all around game but if you prefer Sony exclusives then ps4 slim is the obvious choice . Personally I'm going to wait for Scorpio as it will be a massive upgrade over all 3 and if I were to pick up a Playstation 4 it would more than likely be the pro.
Cloudengine is an entirely new engine that will take advantage of cloud tech. Being new and never done before takes time to craft and create, I'm sure. With that being said I feel MS and David Jones need to show something concrete to hush people until it's nearer to completion. With no talk of cloudengine anymore I can see why people are saying it was all smoke and mirrors.
I should have known the same weasels would be in here spreading there ignorance and hate towards anything Xbox related. There's no reasoning, no respect or any type of regular gaming conversation other than talking mess. Great game and deserves a part 2 which I hope will happen. If it does happens I can't wait to see it running on Scorpio. Theses guys are masters at what they do and as a gamers I know and welcome as many great titles as possible.
Then why not make every game multiplat from both consoles. Everyone complains about lack of exclusives so what kind silly decision would it be to follow your idea. Just buy an xbox or play it on pc

That's good for you but in know way would I buy Pro over Scorpio. I simply want the best console and not a minimal bump streaming device that will struggle all time with its potential bottlenecks. Maybe you should wait and see how it performs 1st before making such an immature choice. Scorpio no doubt will be the better console by far.

I'm aware of VR already on PC and I'm aware of its technical advantages. I agree it will be hardcore gamers that adapt 1st but I for sure don't want VR being some pc thing that eventually goes away. Console gamers need to be included to help grow VR into the next big thing. That's just my view
This is where all my dislike for Sony disappears. In my eyes they're the driving force behind the tech although not the most advanced. I've never really thought about it but this would be a good reason for me to get a pro.

I've had a few games give me motion sickness while others didn't bother me at all on Gear. This is strange but also reminiscent of my first HD TV. I remember getting headaches thinking I would never get use to my tv but overtime my eyes adjusted. I've also heard that saying you were dizzy is contagious like yawning.
