This game looks like the proper successor to the sims 3 we deserve. 4 was a step backwards in every single conceivable way. With the price gouging and terrible business practices by EA over the sims 4, sims mobile and sims FreePlay they don’t deserve anymore customers.

I’m just not understanding why they abandoned Dino crisis and won’t revive it. Yes, the third game bombed out, but that wasn’t anyone’s fault but capcoms for making it some futuristic bull crap and making it Xbox exclusive (despite past games being on PlayStation). But DC1 and 2 and even Dino stalker did good, so it’s weird to see the series having sit dormant. Then they return to dinosaurs genre and make this trash instead?
Konami stated after the collapse and cancellation of silent hills they would support the series and it went on that long hiatus. Hopefully they’ll bring back other stuff soon.
It’s not that big of an issue for most. Most game preservationists have no issue downloading illegally obtained roms of old games on pc so why should it be any different on 3DS?
It was trash. People like the author of this article is why resident evil was dying until they rebooted it with 7. Good riddance to the trashy resident evil era. Don’t like it? Go play Fortnite.

I’m hoping that the success of this and the hopeful success of Silent Hill 2 remake will lead to a code Veronica remake and a silent hill 3 remake.
Konami is just the publisher and owner of these projects. The games being developed are being handled by outside studios and the movie is being handled by a different film company. We are fine.

I played this a long time ago when it was first on PC and it’s a good reason why I am always skeptical about indie games. So many indie games that come out claim to be the best and they suck. This, hydrophobia and AMY were the worst I ever played.

Square Enix is a bad company now. Even they even got rid of some of their big properties like tomb raider recently. I doubt they’ll exist another ten years.

It was trash. It wasn’t horror, it was mostly drama. And it was all over the place with its ridiculously long multiple stories and too many protagonists.
The game should have ditched everything else and been Leon and Helana in Tall Oaks during that outbreak. The first part of Leon’s story in tall oaks was very similar to classic resident evil with the zombies, overrun city, etc. The rest of his story, and the other characters stories, sucked.

Capcom is Japanese and so is Sony, and Microsoft isn’t officially supporting Xbox one anymore except for extended support. Also stats prove resident evil in particular sells better on PlayStation. Same as Silent Hill which is why silent hill 2 remake will be ps5 only.

Anyways re2 even before the remaster of RE 2002 people were begging for a remake for years even back shortly after 2002 came out people were demanding re2 and 3 be remade the same way for GameCube. Id say even had they not remastered 2002 they’d still have remade re2.
