Try started well by ultimately fails towards the latter half of the generation. Why? Well, they stopped producing frequent exclusives (whereas Sony/Nintendo did), they served up exclusive DLC which is simply ridiculous if they're that desperate, they charge an absurdly high price for what should be a free service, they forget hardcore fans and focus on the Kinect crowd and much more.

Look at the leaked documents SuperDAe received 20 years in prison for; do you really think MS would destroy somebody's life over the release of a fake document? It was real. Now, compare that to the PS4's specs and it becomes clear that the next Xbox is notably inferior to SONY's beast of a system.

You would think it's that simple but it is so much not complicated.
Look at the children and te masses that are faithful only to the COD franchise due to reluctance. Furthermore, they spend so much time in the world of COD that they bond with it and see it a a personal accomplishment which only makes them want to play it more. It is a vicious cycle.
I didn't include peer-pressure or the feeling of competition either.

I still haven't finished AC3 because I found the complete package to be rather boring; not just the Desmond parts of the game.
I love GT5 and I'll love this! Racing fans are certainly being treated with stupendous amounts of love! Project Cars, Drive Club & possibly GT6 (it's being worked on); I can't wait! All we need now is a decent Vita racing sim - GT Vita anyone?
I'll be getting the Ps4 because I've been with Sony since the beginning; also, I have a Ps Vita and the integration is excellent.
The Vita version comes out at the end of April; I guess I'll have to wait.
I really want a new Vita AC title because I'm on AC3:L right now and it's great!
E3 maybe? I think GamesCom would be a bit too late to announce a game for the first time.
AC4 looks good but I'll see how people find it. Due to its scale I bet it'll be glitchy given the development time.

Don't let these companies push you around by offering an unwanted game of lesser value as a full refund. Call them, email them and don't stop. Get your money back and never support EA again.
