In regards to Nintendo, I see it as this:
The Wii appealed to those who weren't big on gaming. The "casuals", the mums and dads and for really young kids. The motion control seemed cool to them so they went out and bought it.
However, whether they played it once and it sat in the closet or continued to play it and enjoy it.
I don't think these people are the types to go out and buy a new console every generation, especially if it looks simil...
Would love to see a Killzone game based on the Helghast perspective (although Shadow Fall may well be one, I've been overseas for the past 3 months and I haven't been following PS4/gaming news much)
