Your not surprised Sony put this much effort into a PS3 game so close to the PS4?
Any other company and this would have been a next gen release.
Sony's killing it this year. It's a cliche at this point but 2013 could end up being the year Sony took back the industry.
Hands down the most high tech console peripheral yet.
But just to throw it out there, I am still leaning towards the best "gaming" console this generation. Also who knows what Sony will do with the new Eye.
Probably more than enough to keep the casual family members happy.
Edit: PS4 for the best "gaming" in case that gets lost somehow.
Just imagine what Nintendo would have done with Kinect.
I doubt we would be having this problem right now.
If enough people make a stupid purchase it doesn't magically become a smart one.
COD games aren't worth the $60 they charge every couple of months with their new releases.
Wrong horse for the wrong race.
The whole problem has been the Xbox One is only being shown as a media device which, surprise surprise, gamers aren't that excited for.
You can't say enough how bad a PR move that reveal was. Start with the games then bring in your extra features later.
The depressing thing is they probably did lead with what was most important and we are just reluctant to see that games have taken a back seat to Micro...
Not for hardcore gamers.
But the casuals will eat it up.
If Microsoft keeps with their current direction the Xbox One will be known more for what it wasn't rather than what it was. IMO
Bishop-br summed it up, most gamers see where this is headed and are angry at the direction one of their consoles is headed.
Agreed, Microsoft set their own terms on this one so they can't cry foul when everyone doesn't like the message.
Not just the trailer, but the announcement of a gameplay reveal come E3 at the Sony Conference.
That's what it felt like.
Where a lot of the first party stuff is being held back until E3 or later, Destiny has been a fun one to keep an eye on.
None of the Xbox One titles were interesting to me, and the Ps4 reveals were cool but of new IP's I'm most excited for Destiny so far.
Can someone confirm this one way or the other?
So true.
There is plenty more for us to learn about Xbox One but that first showing wasn't a good one.
Microsoft hasn't revealed anything yet I'm sure they have more than enough to give us a good show tomorrow and at E3.
With how well 2k is dominating the basketball genre, the overall quality of football games should be much better in three to five years.
That first new release will be pretty exciting though.
Looks like it will be a NCAA title first due to the contracts that are still out there, but at this point who really cares.
2Ks next football game will be the first one I've bought in a while.
Have been a huge Madden fan in the past, but since 2004 the quality has gone downhill severely.

They are obviously happy Sony is showing true support for the current gen.
