All those next gen formats can kiss my A$$. Digital Downloads are cool and all, but who needs that when we have the internet. I have one hard drive with over 500 movies sitting on it right now, and another with 8 different sitcoms (complete seasons) which can all be streamed over to the console of choice at the drop of a hat. Now when i have that capability - tell me why i would give a damn about a disc. Quality you say - hell i can download a 1080p blu-ray wmvhd file off the newsgroups right...
So bragging about a game that's coming up on being a year old is not dumb also. All we are saying is that you are doing nothin original here. Xbox360 was doing digital downloads since it launched. Xbox Originals we started doing a year or so ago. Your first full DDD launch titles were Socom (which sucks as much as Socom 3 (bugs, lag, mic issue, etc) and Burnout Paradise - woooooooo SO OLD !!!! have fun with your Last Gen console.

No matter how you try to spin it all of these gimmicks are merely for rep and are nothing but numbers and avatars. We got something for our achievements a couple of times (MS Points, Free Games, Free Gamerpics, and Free DLC), I doubt Sony will do any better in that arena.

Halo 3 has been patched a lot to offer better online (which was fine from Day 1 - unlike this and all other Socom games), and Halo 3 unlike Socom draws hundreds of thousands of players each day/night versus 20,000 - 30,000 on Socom. you can have all the players online you want but most of the time more players means less time alive, more chances for team killers and what not. In a deathmatch (respawn) type game there is no real incentive for skilled players just a bunch of run n gun jerks who talk a lot of smack on the mics. Do you guys have a central gaming site like you had on Socom 3/Combined Assault where you could track stats and all that. I was just wondering not for bragging or anything but to go check out and see what they changed since last time. bungie.net is an awesome stat tracking sie for Halo regardless of how you feel about the game but would be a great model for Slant Six to start with to give you guys a central online place for stat tacking when you are not at your PS3.

How the hell do you get server stress from 20,000 - 40,000 users man PSN must really sucks when games on LIVE can have millions of users with no issues (oh yeah and on DAY 1). I think it is a great game. if you are disappointed in the experience then maybe you should have rented it first before buying. No bad impressions here as it is all good.
