i agree..i'll play it for sure when it comes on ps3, i loved ffxi and some friends told me that it has the same atmosphere although it has lot of flaws...it's a MMO and i was expecting it to be like this at release!
7 in graphics? it seems IGN wanted to bring down the score..
i haven't played ffxiv and i cannot argue about gameplay...but the graphics are gorgeous for a MMO...

you really think it's a "1 in a 100" chance? last time they had something like that was the MNR beta and wasn't limited to PS+ members (the service wasn't up)...there were 6k places for the beta and you had to download it from the store...it ended being up also the day after..it's not like ppl are on the store waiting for the beta to appear..i mean, some ppl will do it but the majority will just download it when they come home from work or the day after!

if you had played a MMORPG in your life you would understand that 10/20 hours into the game are nothing you can judge about...this is a genre that needs thousands hours of play to fully understand and appreciate...and SE doesn't want to do that, only want Reviews to come out after a month!!they want you to try the game enough to judge it!!after playing for 20 hours you probably have seen 0,5% of the game!

it seems a nice story so far (haven't finished it yet)..can't agree on the graphics, unreal engine looks so damn bright :( HS was way better..
@ below: in every game developed with unreal engine there's to much brightness to me..sorry if i used flashy :/ don't know if that was the right term to explain it!
i think U2 is still the king of console graphics...just my opinion!
