It's just your opinion man. Just because you thought it was a step backwards doesnt mean everyone else has to think it is too. I personally enjoyed the sequel MUCH more than the first, since I had a very hard time getting into it at the beginning. It would have been nice to have a longer story and more environments to explore, but the detail and variety put into the settings were very well done in my opinion.

Oh yea, it was basically just multiplayer with bots. But I never viewed that as single player. Always kind of thought it was training.

THANK GOD! Faction specific weapons makes me very happy. As well as equipable knife and grenades. It's shaping up to be more like the classic BF2 than I thought.
I think we can all except that pc gaming will never be as mainstream as consoles are, but damn it feels good to be a pc gamer sometimes.

Drue dat homie. And DICE is going back to their PC roots and making pc lead platform for Battlefield 3. And by doing this they have created in my opinion one of the best looking pc games ever among Crysis 1, the Total War series and the Uncharted series.

Yea I have a GTS 250 and was playing on 1920x1080, very high settings with uber and SSAO off and it ran decent. A lot of places like the forest and the ghost battle absolutely KILLED my pc though. It's a good thing that this game doesn't need a high frame rate to play. Anyways it still looks pretty good on xbox. But in a video I watched there weren't really any blur effects or motion blur and Geralt's hair wasn't moving when he ran, wonder why.
No, even high on pc takes a pretty high end computer to run. Medium sounds about right, but it still looks great.

They are bringing back rush mode and you cant have big open maps in rush mode becasue it just wont work out.

But really though waterboy, with all fanboyism aside, pc's simply have the ability to upgrade every bit of hardware thus giving it the ability to play games with higher textures, lighting, dx 11 and resolutions. It's simple fact not opinion. I'm sure if a ps3 had the ability to upgrade hardware it would look just as good if not better than a pc can. It's not a hard concept to realize, people just seem to absolutely refuse to believe that their precious consoles are act...
Yea I recently just started playing EVE on pc and wish dust was on pc, but I can see why this is a ps3 exclusive. I think the integration of the games works really good with them being on different platforms. It will keep the eve players playing eve and the dust players playing dust. Thus no sacrifice in the communities of each game.
There are plenty of games on pc that are a magnitude better looking then both console. Are you fucking blind or just completely ignorant?
Kotick seems to be somewhat anti-pc gaming to some extent. Glad EA can see that there is still a HUGE audience out there for pc gaming, and wont treat us like an inferior platform.

Yea man to say there are no good games on pc is pretty ridiculous, there are plenty of AMAZING games like everything somerandomdude posted and much more. It's just a fanboy thing of you to say. I have both pc and ps3, you dont have a gaming pc. Thus you have no reason to talk because you havent experienced the best of both worlds, you are simply comparing to something you have no clue about.

Yea it's really awesome how some mods can sometimes add SO much to a game and make it better than it was in the first place. I'm looking forward to modding the shit out of my Skyrim this November!
