Which makes the play-style really interesting. Love that they're encouraging something so different. Wish I had taken the time to check it out.
They're going for an open world like in Dark Souls. Roughly the same size as the world in its predecessor but with double the content, according to early reports.
The level design apparently is going for more vertical complexity; that is, ascending a lot of massive structures. At least, that was the example given. The fortress from the demo still had a couple other paths to explore. Hoping that's a regular thing in Dark Souls 2.
They did, actually. Just have to pair them to the system using the bluetooth accessory menu, I think. Haven't tried it for myself, but I would assume they work fine.
