gotcha, yeah I believe the last 3 NFS games have been put on a bi-yearly release schedule. So the last one came out last year, the next one (this one) won't release until 2021.
I remember when Max Payne 3 added this game mode (permadeath) and man it angered me, I was going to try to platinum the game until I realized I had to beat the whole game without dying because it didn't save on that difficulty LOL.

NFS is a bi-yearly released title now, been that way for the last 3 NFS games. So i'm not understanding why you'd think they'd release it yearly... Eventhough they stated in the EA conference that it was in a very early build stage.

Yeah, im just shocked how bad these games are going. I enjoyed their games more when they were working with EA oddly enough, the games had alot better quality. Even Need For Speed Shift has given me more goosebumps looking at it then seeing this. Maybe they have a next gen launch version in the works or something, but right now their shouldn't be any excuse.
