@dodddle - How exactly did the ps3 pummel the 360? The 360 still leads the ps3 in total sales and the ps3 won't catch up for many years at current rate. 20,000 a week isn't going to get it done for a while.

Just do the math on the software. Just divide the total software sold this week for each by the total lifetime consoles sold. You will see that they are pretty much selling at the same attach rate with a slight edge to the 360.
Next time please do the math before commenting.
Not by beating the 360 by 20,000 a week. It'll take 5-6 years at around that rate.

Dirty tactics? When sony gets an exclusive third party game or content it's guaranteed that some money has changed hands. Same with Microsoft. All consoles do it, but it's dirty when Microsoft does it???

I'm sorry, but the ps3 is only averaging around 20,000 more lifetime hardware sales per month than the XBOX 360. If the 360 is a failure then so is the ps3. If this current lifetime pace continues and both consoles go 10 years, the ps3 would only sell 2.5 million more than the 360.
Don't worry, there's going to be shipments sent out sometime in March. There will be a shortage of wins, at least in the US, for the PS3 for the rest of the year.
How about you back up your claims for once. 60% traded in? Have a source for your claims?
I'd say around 70% of PS3s have been traded in for XBOX 360's in the US since we can just spout crap without ever backing it up with facts.
