Actually it's only around 40 Sega games and 40 filler games. It's been out in one form or another for years. You'd think the author could have did a quick internet search and discovered this info.
Trash them all you want about being coercive, but they did announce the Scorpio way in advance. Regardless of motivation for the announcement, it allows gamers to make a choice in buying now or waiting until the more powerful system is released. Opposite of what the article is insinuating.

I got $150 trade in on my Xbox 360 to get a Xbox One. I'd think it will be at least that.
And it's good that it can now be played on the Xbox One. Don't know why people like to downplay having more ways to play games.
I'm most likely going to get a Scorpio but we don't know enough about either one to know which is better yet.
Just because you say it doesn't make it true. Games made for the Scorpio will also play on the original Xbox One. How does that make it the Xbox 2? If it does then Neo is the PS5.

My Xbox One is on for the majority or the time I'm inside the house. Playing games, watching netflix and many other things. These consoles are supposed to be able to run longer than 2 hours at a time. It's not abuse or negligence doing so.

Btw, Scorpio comes out closer to a year and a half as opposed to almost two years.
Developers have to make games run on 1000's of different configurations with PCs. I'm pretty sure they can manage to make it work with just 3. Make the game for Scorpio and scale it for the other two.

I'm sorry, but if you can't manage to login to an account in 5 years, it should be considered abandoned. Especially since you can login to it via your PC, phone app or Xbox console.
