Well, yes you need a Xbox Live account, but you don't have to be a Gold Member.
So you will have to have every game installed on your console? There's no way that you can just limit it to the maybe 10 games? If it were an average of 20gb a game at 10 games it'd only take up 200gb of space. There is no need to have more games than that installed at once. Especially if you can start playing the game while it is installing.
Wow Enemy, defensive much?
I was just commenting on the article Dino posted. If you think that was some sort of attack on you or sony, I'm not sorry, because you are being way too defensive.
I know that any perceived negative towards Sony must be attacked on here, but that wasn't my intentions. You should calm down.
In the article you posted it says Microsoft has lost $3 billion in the last 10 years on the Xbox, and Sony has lost $5 billion in the same time with the Playstation. It's just amazing how either company is launching a new console with losses like that.
Guess you have to lose money to make money. The last 5 have been profitable years for the Xbox, but still not enough seeing how they are still $3 billion under. Not sure about Sony.
Page is now back up.
So it's nothing to do with Sony when a multi-platform game is running on a pc but it's the end of the world when an Xbox game is ran on pc?
"Oh but I can't comprehend what I'm reading and somehow thought Major Nelson wrote that BF4 was going to be playable on the Xbox One even though it doesn't say that anywhere."
Microsoft did have 4 games playable on the Xbox One at PAX. But lets just focus on a third party game that wasn'...
No, you have the bubbles to troll. Posting on the comments section doesn't prove you have the balls to state anything.
Where? Because here they aren't listed as exclusives: http://news.xbox.com/2013/0...
I guess you are talking about the main games page. They list 4 games on that page that aren't exclusives. They don't say they are either. You guys are so wanting to catch Microsoft at something that you will reach to get it. Just because they talk about exclusives on the MAIN Games page do...
Wasn't different when everybody on this site kept saying that Microsoft is falsely advertising COD making it appear as it's an exclusive. But now that Sony is doing it the rules have once again changed. Now it's ok. Just like paying to play online is now ok.
"MS puts those two titles CLEARLY IN THE MIDDLE of their actual exclusives. On a page about their exclusives. Is that not low? It can easily trick the uniformed."
The mistake was al...
Two weeks is a long time in troll years.
I don't think I'm going to get Magic the gathering, but so far I've enjoyed the games offered. Guess to each his own.
Microsoft said that Games with gold may continue passed the November date they gave and continue with Xbox One. I'm sure it'll get better for the people that don't like it so far. For me, I can't complain yet.
Neither can you. Still haven't showed where it says Xbox One will be running BF4, but oh well.
Yet they had other demos running on the Xbox One. Don't see how this is a Microsoft issue. Maybe the developer wasn't ready? Regardless, they always use an Xbox controller at the Xbox booths. Like even when a game isn't running on an actual PS4 they still use a PS4 controller.
Wow, I don't know how they'll ever recover from this petty shot. I guess they have to pump the indies since that is mostly what they have. Ouyastation4 is gonna be great. Too bad I already have a phone for these games.
All that you showed, which I already knew, is that Battlefield 4 will be at the Xbox booth. Nowhere does it say it will be playable on the Xbox One.
This is the only apology you are getting: I'm sorry but you are really reaching. You still haven't shown anything that says it was going to be playable on the Xbox One at PAX. You are reading things that just aren't there.
Here is a little more from the post:
"Imagine sixty sta...
@Motherlight
What does that have to do with Microsoft? Other demos were being played on Xbox One. BF4 not being ready to run on the Xbox One is a DICE/EA issue, not Microsoft. Think before you speak please.
@badz149
Did you not see the demo schedule on the same post? No BF4 on the schedule.
@LeCreuset
Sorry, but it doesn't say BF4 will be playable on Xbox One. Did you miss the words "hand-on" in...
Lol. If people would actually read Major Nelson's full blog post, you wouldn't be confused.
http://majornelson.com/2013...
Can someone point out where it says that BF4 is going to be playable on an Xbox One?
I see a demo schedule that has Kinect Rivals, Spark, Fable Anniversary and Dead Rising 3.
I really thin...
This article will fail unlike this article: http://n4g.com/news/1339909...
Reason being that the approved article about Microsoft being paid for Prism aid puts Microsoft into a negative light, and this article shows Microsoft has been fighting to release a breakdown of the number of requests by the government. This transparency isn't negative en...
Then go and request it through the Freedom of Information Act before you submit an article saying they are in trouble. You know, like journalists are suppose to do. A little investigating goes a long way.
Stickskills just isn't a site that I go to. Sorry if that bothers you.
Just what you said would be enough. The text input and the phone camera looking at your face and knowing it's you instead of a pin to unlock. Just little things like that. I'm sure they aren't going to put everything Kinect has into the phone.
