I read it, and I never said it was overly serious or a rant. I just didn't enjoy your article that have to do with pretty much nothing. So what an announcer says he's putting up "video game" numbers. It's not like gamers at home (other than you of course) get their panties in a knot. To the rest of the world, video games are not associated with realism. And they are just using it as a adjective that sounds better than "man, he's putting up numbers that are above...
If Reggie, shaq, or Kenny have played anything as recent as 2k5 I'd be surprised. Obviously they are talking about jam and the old school games. Worst. Article. Ever

Ontopic: then you would have to be able to define "broken". Clearly some games have struggles out the gate, but for everyone to return these games in the first couple days would only hurt the industry. And have fun trying to chat with a representative with your interpretation of "broken".

I played VII as a kid a lot and was fascinated by it. The whole concept of raises the chocobos was the single greatest thing. I remember the golden chocobo and racing them. But as far as my favourite final fantasy, it has to be X. The story was so amazing. The characters were great (Wakka is voiced by Bender from futurama) and I became emotionally invested in all of them. And there were some boss battles that I will never forget as long as I live. Fuck you seymour

I honestly think that it looks better now. That's not to say this is not impressive, because it really is. I just seem to see all these games "in unreal engine" and sometimes the original seem to be more aesthetically appealing.
All in all. Impressive video though
Obviously some games fail to hit expectations, but that doesn't mean you have to get off the "hype train". I remember my first ride on the hype train for fallout 3. I was not disappointed. Then again, for red dead redemption. Then for skyrim and gta 5. There are games that deserve the hype and I believe fallout 4 is one of them given bethesdas track record last gen. So stop hating on the first years worth of games and try to have a more optimistic approach.

the stuff you could do before was mind blowing. I just can't believe you couldn't get into it I really feel sorry for you. Shiny new graphics and first person mode are good, but the story is going to still be as amazing as before
Battlefront 2 is my favourite Star Wars game of all time. The old republic was just the worst IMO. Still play battlefield to this day though and hopefully 3 lives up to the hype

As for the game itself I think it'll be a train wreck as always. They probably have changed the ratings since the last time they released a meaningful version of live which was around when Dwayne Wade was that good. They should just release NBA jam instead and stop trying
Honestly it listed pages 1-5, then page 44 and it was the first comment haha. I only am checking because a lot of people were posting and complaining about the delayed release, but are now complaining about the bugs - can’t have both those be true otherwise the company loses both ways. but I agree that opinions can change (and should).
