Regardless if it has magic or not, it will sell. You could slap a Halo logo on a dog turd and sell it for $60.
I'm glad I didn't get suckered in by the Final Fantasy VII cash-in, "Dirge of Cerberus."
Those parents should be arrested for buying their kid Pirates of the Carribean and the PS3 version of Skate.
Why do we need stupid discussions about if Christmas is a pagan holiday or if you believe in Jesus or whatever.
The only reason Christmas is relevant in this story is because lots of people got 360s or new games yesterday an wanted to get online with them.
I for one had no problems yesterday.
I agree. Waverace 64 deserves to be on the list. That game ruled when it came out.
I really hope that means we can see a sequel to Blast Corps too!
Part of the reason Forza sold so well is because it is being bundled for Christmas. They've probably sold 750k copies of Forza with new 360s.
This really sucks. I just got a 360 today...
To address some of the criticism:
"Broken Link: (40 minutes ago) Fixed 35 minutes ago
Don't use the site if you disapprove."
That's a really lame excuse. People who truly care about the site and want it to succeed should definitely do what they can to improve the site. Don't pull the like it or leave it BS.
"Other: (59 minutes ago)
The reason why the site is crap is because of the fanboys and repeated crap people post, ...
I'm glad there are more people who are concerned with the integrity of this site.
Next, let's try to get rid of the fanboism. Stop allowing anti-Sony articles from 360 sites (*cough* XBOXKINGS *cough*) and stop allowing anti-360 articles from PS3 sites.
Start knocking down the CRank of people who approve super fanboi attack articles and people who approve articles that have glaring issues.
You know, Halo 3 doesn't even run at 720p and Mass Effect has lots of framerate issues.
Don't throw this just on Sony games.
Besides, GT5 is still in development. Plenty of time to iron issues out.
Because some people have sets that don't support 720p. The difference in 720p and 480p is significant.
And no BS about being outdated or obsolete. The 360 supports scaling. Sony just dropped the ball. Most A/V gurus still say CRT RPTVs are superior to newer LCD/Plasma/LCoS/DLP sets.
To me it matters because I have a preorder on the PS3 version. If the PS3 version won't support 1080, I'll switch to the 360 version.
I wish they'd have answered if the PS3 version will offer 1080i resolution scaling.
If that's how you want it to be Bloodmask, I'll add my name to the list of the malcontents.
SDF is a bogus site as is any story about their actions.
Same map EGM revealed in their January issue last week.
300 MHz Pentium II (500 MHz Pentium 3 Preferred)
64 MB RAM (128 MB Preferred)
Voodoo Banshee Video Card (Voodoo 2 Preferred)
Windows 95 (Windows 98 Preferred)
8x CD-ROM
If we're going to do lame wishlists, here's mine.
1. Play 360 games
2. Play HD DVD discs
3. Play N64 carts
4. Play Laserdisc
I agree that the news is useful. I was under the impression that news was supposed to be timely and not rehashes.
When they mean multiplatform, do they mean Playstation, Saturn, and Pentium PC?
So you can go ahead and pay full price for a Wii so Nintendo / Gamestop can earn interest on your $250 while you wait around a month for the hardware? Where do I sign up?
Because it's another example of a series where you can slap the name on anything sell it.
