Devs want in on the success of the COD and Halo series, you can't blame them though. Devs need to go back to making good SP games. They should leave MP to those that are Vets at it.
Vanquish, although not a FPS, im glad it has no multiplayer, when reviews come out, points will be deducted for no MP.
Don't forget how halo helped out Xbox. It deserves everything praise and acclaim that it gets today.

you won't get the game the first time you play.
Just forget about comparisons for few seconds, and play the game for what it is.
I suggest increasing the camera and aim sensitivity to the max if you want it to be more effective.
the game is no "Gears". sure you take cover, pop and shoot. but a lot of TPS do that now adays, to name a few, Uncharted and mass effect. The movements seems realistic as far as moving, Evading and running, they ...
and them make it free... that looks too good to be true

what Im not a fan of, is the time limit you have for an objective.
and they dont go all the way to 25 kills nice :) dogs will seek out campers, lovely and the spy cam, plus rc XD... campers beware lol
just accept it, the consoles really have ben maxed out. They resort to different methods and tricks now to out do their previous efforts. look at the jump from gears 1 to 2, not much eh? killzone 2 to 3, the games look just as good if not slighly different not better...
there are other aspects of development that could max out hardware... not just the looks, physics, mo-cap, animations, A.I all take up processing power not just visuals.
