I can't say I'm too excited by this update, but as Sev said above, "any update is a good update". I'm sure we will get the features that people have been clamoring for eventually. I'll probably fool around with the new photo application anyways. lol.
We all know that Rock Band is a direct result of the popularity of the Guitar Hero series, but they were the first to include other instruments amongst other differences. If you are going to call Rock Band a case of plagiarism, then how many other games would be considered plagiarism? How many different times have we stormed the beach at Normandy in games? How many times have we saved the princess? I think Forbes needs to get a grip and learn a little something about video games.
You could say that Guitar Hero World Tour is a rip-off of Rock Band as well.

you should try contributing something constructive to N4G. Hating on Sony, the mods, giving everyone disagrees for no reason, and attacking other members is not the best way to enjoy N4G. If you're just going to spread flames, why not stay in the Open Zone? After all, that is why it's there.

The first thing I noticed about COD4 was how great it looked (same as Killzone 2), but after you play the game, you realize that we don't need much in terms of innovation in a FPS. could have done without the avatars (personally they are of no use to me), but overall I enjoyed the new look of the 360. I always thought that the blades looked sort of "cheap", and the new interface is much easier for me to navigate.

I went to Circuit City on Saturday with a couple friends to see if we could find any good deals, but we were obviously disappointed. The store was crowded, the lines were long, and a lot of things were still full price. I am considering trying to get a new TV this week since the %10 will actually be a decent amount, but I'm still not sold on that idea either.
Not only was there no PS3 exclusives, but they threw Wheelman and Punch-Out on there. If I was a gamer and got most of my news from MSNBC, I would be very disappointed with the way 2009 is shaping up. I mean, they couldn't even throw Ninja Blade on there or something? lol.
the demo is due to hit the PSN the exact same day as my Gamestop pre-order Killzone 2 demo, I couldn't care if they delayed it for another couple weeks. I'll be busy playing Afro Samurai and the KZ2 demo.

happier to here this. As a big fan of the graphic novel, I can't wait to actually be able to control Rorschach and Nite Owl while uncovering a little more of the story. This is shaping up to be a must-buy for me, and I hope it doesn't cost more that $14.99.
Well there is already a Biohazard 5 (Resident Evil 5) bundle coming to Japan, and I wouldn't be surprised to see SCEE announce one for Europe in the coming weeks. Either way, I'm sure more people would be happier to just see an overall price drop.:)
