that copies sold is what makes a game great. That is sad, it used to be that gameplay, graphics, and overall playablility made the game. Anyone who quotes sales numbers is a fanboy and nothing more. These huge corporations love this stuff. They really need free advertising and debate on these message boards, it gives them a good laugh and saves a couple bucks.
Windows 98 was the last good one... lol
depending on what games they offer and for how much
So you'll download them and watch them until Microsoft doesn't let you anymore I suppose. I'll just be watching Planet Earth on Blu Ray whenever I want for years to come...
Why do sales numbers matter to gamers? I still don't understand that, and btw Jason's numbers are off anyway, so you can look up some real facts if you choose to. The loyalty to a company that is trying to take over everything in the world is downright disturbing. While you sit and bicker about your xbox being so great, the M$ sit back, count their money, and laugh when you get the RROD... I tend to buy based on quality, not based on how many other morons have bought something because it ca...
American Gangster ads on TV were showing the DVD and did not mention HD DVD whatsoever other than showing a picture of it and saying you get it free with the purchase of the DVD. lol. What a total slap in the face of HD DVD. Universal must have been pissed when Toshiba pulled the plug right before their release date. So, now I wonder why American Gangster HD DVD "sold" so many copies....
we need a real Batman game that is great. They should make a really good one for the Dark Knight, that would be amazing!
I am definitely looking forward to picking up my copy of Army of Two tomorrow, and GT5 Prologue in maybe April, but Everybody's Golf? I'd say there are two must haves on this list lol
I do agree that DD is still so far away, but I don't understand why it always has to be in competition with Blu Ray. DD should stay how it is on Live and expand to other consoles (I'm looking at you Sony), but it should just be an alternative to Blu Ray. I enjoy having my discs and blah blah blah like everyone else always says. These articles are tired.
I don't know about this. It looks cool, yes, but will I ever really play stuff on here? Wow, after that quote, I just remembered that a lot of people said that sort of thing about the Wii. lol. I'll never buy Microsoft stuff, but this does look pretty cool:)
There can only be one! I hope you're right gamesblow.
I have browsed several boards and have noticed that gamesblow (sources be what they may) is usually right with his predictions. I really hope he is right about this one and perhaps the US will see it this week still.
Nah Sony's system doesn't break all the time, so they won't need to trade it in.
lol
They indeed need to show respect to the EU owners, but this respect may come in time. If I had to guess, I would say that Europe will see some sort of special bundle or offer very soon, since it seems like every other continent is getting one. I think it is a mistake for Sony not to just go ahead and include this bundle in all territories for the release, but it would be a bigger mistake if someone traded for an inferior piece of technology especially before MGS comes out. That being said,...
Valin should realize that Valin sounds like a moron. Damn.
IF you already have a PS3 then it shouldn't matter much. Basically all you would be paying for is the new cardboard with Snake on it and a DS3. I would consider the PSP more of a blow since the hardware is actually different and interesting looking. If you own a PS3 then just go buy the game. It's truly not disrespectful. Sony cares about money more than our feeling don't forget that. The same goes for any of these big corporations (especially Microsoft).
Good for Take Two! IF they are to be bought, at least they will be milking EA for every dime they can get. lol. I feel that this buyout is still inevitable, but here's hoping EA relents.
To be fair, there were also reports that Sony paid Warner to go exclusive and some other studio, too. I have fully supported Blu Ray though, so I wish this was already settled. Toshiba needs to let them out of that contract.
I can't wait for LittleBigPlanet... I would love to incorporate my younger siblings into a game on the PS3, and it seems that this will provide an enormous amount of gameplay time. Here to 2008 and owning a PS3.
