There are 2 types of mods, Hardware and Software. I guess people don't understand that the Hardware is yours to keep and can do whatever you want with it. You can put a bomb on it and Sony would not give a f***ing S***. But the softwares are belong to Sony's. It's in the manual and users agreement. Tempering on the software part is what annoyed Sony. I think if you complete 3 levels on PS home you'll get the multiplayer map. Which is pretty awesome by the way. I'm pretty sure Sony will eventually put everything on PS store as well for future purchase.
If Sony cut the price tag to 50% off, I might reconsider buying move and navigation. Right now it is still pretty expensive for my taste.
