People actually go through all this trouble to create a fake site and a fake review? Wow, just wow. Killzone must have stepped on one big nerve.
EDIT: just noticed the IGN screens LMFAO. The faker should also do a double check on his "facts". To my knowledge, Killzone doesn't even have an install, let alone 25 minutes one.
Anyone else getting the Error 80710102 treatment???
In other words, I can't download the update.
EDIT: guess just the server went down for a couple of minutes works fine now.
Did I hear that correctly "We're 4 million units behind I think based on the latest sales figures"
so more than 5 million behind in US, more than a million lead in japan and about even in PAL territories? I'd say he's correct.
Take that VGchartz lol.
Jeah just think about it. If you ever have to do a presentation, just use LBP. :D Beats the hell out of powerpoint.
But the question is... Does it support in-game XMB? :P
From a fanboys perspective, yes, as FFXIII was by far the biggest news in E3.
But from a gamers perspective it was Sony that announced the most new titles. So they win in my book, but not by much.
Hell yea. Best fu*kin' console graphix ever!
Uncharted did use the harddrive. But unlike others they actually took time to implement a good streaming system and not just install everything.
It's in the players met category, just click on one of the players you met and there is the fourth tab in his profile.
But wouldn't that make it 7/3 here in Europe?
Since SCEE said in the official press release Europe is getting it on 7/2, i certainly hope this is not the case.
According to the PSBlog, there is going to be only one title supporting trophies on day 1. And that's SSHD.
Others will be patched in the following days/weeks.
@plenty a tool
We're talking about the arcade version here, which is 199 in yurope
http://majornelson.com/arch...
even Major Nelson has it on his site.
If you can't find it in your country than its your countries fault
And I have just been in Austria (guess why ;)) and they had the arcade for 199.
LOL the funny thing is, 360 already is at the "sweet-spot" €199 in Europe and it ain't looking good, as the PS3 outsells it at a €399 pricepoint.
And no, Halo an Gears are not mainstream games. They may be selling well but still their main audience is the hardcore gamer.
Wiifit, Wiisport, singstar, Buzz, guitar hero, rock band... these are mainstream games
I believe the full xmb access means that you can actually access (as in not just see the icons) everything ingame that incudes web browser, watching movies etc. And for that you would need a lot of ram which probably isn't possible.
Just what I was about to say.
I'll reserve my comment. Until after a couple of more reviews come in.
But one thing is for sure, if I don't se at least a couple of 8/10 or less scores from other "major" review sites, Eurogamer will be tagged as a joke review site in my book.
And what the hell, a guy that reviewed THREE (3) freekin' games gets the HONOUR of reviewing a MGS game... The chief editor in eurogamer should be shot.
thats in game communications thats coming this summer, not necessarily the whole XMB
So you can't go past firmware 2.1 eh?
This means no online play, no firmware upgrades (including in-game xmb and home), risking to get your console permanently blocked from PSN and last but not least disability to play any new, soon-to-be-released games, that I'm sure will require the latest firmware to run.
Until they find a hole that can't be fixed by firmware upgrades, I'm labeling this "loader" as pretty much useless
Free games are always welcome.
