I have nothing against Hsu, but this looks like an absolutely retarded project on a site no one cares about.
There is a reason why this needed to be published two weeks after GDC. It's not some secret conspiracy, but some of the comments made were in confidence and it wouldn't have been fair to the individual who I spoke to betray that trust.
There were additional things said during the conversation which I unfortunately cannot publish for similar reasons.

Uhh, yeah, they are 100% compatible with Rock Band.
The guitars are definitely crafted physically more so for righties. But there's a "left flip" option at the menu that allows left-handed players to play their way.
This has been visible on Pandemic's site for at least a year and a half.
