The press are the ones who informed us that Ryse is a pretty but boring detached game because of the QTE, nobody has even dared say it is enjoyable because of it.
Quit the BS! People on this site have all come down on Ryse like a ton of bricks for its QTE's, there has been absolutely zero people claiming it is the best thing ever like you claim.
Just because this QTE fest is getting it's judgement day doesn't mean you need to pull lies out your re...
TWD had a great story and you actually had to play or you'd die. With Beyond, you could put down the controller and still progress.
Why weren't you lambasting the media when they were awarding tlou perfect scores?
Did you really have to pull out the tired cod/madden excuse? Lots of reviewers who loved Heavy Rain hate Beyond so let's put away this silly excuse shall we?
Also, there are plenty of 6's and 7's so it isn't all love/hate, there are a healthy sprinklings of men's out there too for the game.
By the way, reviewers are gamers too.
Most reviews with complaints are aimed at the goofy storytelling. Games aren't just about gameplay, true. But they also shouldn't be about messy storytelling with no gameplay either.
Not sure what xbone has to do with this.

You have people claiming that only people with h taste will love the game. Then you have those suggesting that the low scores come from CoD lovers or David Cage/ PlayStation haters.
The over hype came before the scores when people on this very site were calling it the next goty and predicting perfect scores across the board.

Why is it that every single PlayStation exclusive that doesn't receive acclaim is met with cries of bias and unreliable reviewing?
Why can't you people accept the fact that not everybody is Going to love your precious exclusive? Maybe if you stopped hyping every single game published by Sony to the high heavens, you wouldn't have to do damage control when the game turns out to be average.
