Hard to gauge your exact sentiment, but couple of possibilities:
Sony is literally running this site, and have paid shills at a higher rate than MS.
Sony fans are running this site, as in the MS fans are abandoning ship--all going to neogaff i presume? (yukyuk)

I say homage, because anyone that likes what is in that game is nostalgic, remembering some of the best of the best from back in the day.
If you are admitting that God of War is one of the best of the best games of its generation, maybe Dante's Inferno is an homage, but since this is 8 BIT GAMES we are referring to, maybe Dante's Inferno is cashing in on something Xbox players just can't get without a Ps3.

Maybe it's just that the PS3 is really fun, looks great, and only does everything. I don't know, these numbers are probably fake, brought about by the bias media and the corrupt Sony agenda, I just don't know....

Gears 2 seems to be the go to game for 360 graphics minded fans, but the truth is most of these 360 fans that don't have a PC set up are probably not that graphic minded. If you are not a teenager (im not knocking anyone) then you may remember the benchmarks of graphics in times past. I figure that may be the determining factor for console players --age-- because the older you get the more you know what you want, what you don't want, and what you are looking for.

True Story but it is just a theory--- my roommate is friends with a man named A-- his brother works for MS. A owns a 360 doesn't play a ton of games but likes to play-- we have 360's and Ps3 at the house and he comes over -- every time my roomy Jorge tells him "yo bro, gotta get a PS3" he just kinda makes this face with a smile and is like "noooooooooo"

I called Chris at Gamestop (the only nice guy there-- seriously maybe it's me) and he said that Demon's Souls would be available Wednesday. Well I've waited this long....
On a nicer note though, he did confirm that Uncharted 2 would be Midnight released on Monday/Tuesday. I live in Bellingham WA.
