^^^^ what he said
I wish they would give more info about the game on the official website, it has not been updated since march.
Can't wait, but its coming out a little close to Battlefield 3, might not be able to afford both.
I got an i7 950 with soon to be dual gtx 570's. I should be good for a while.
I can't justify upgrading to an i7 2600k
You obviously never played Crysis 1 then.
didn't look too good to me at 9 fps :(
I don't mind wearing the glasses, but only because I have to. The only non glasses 3d I have tried is the 3ds and it was poor.
I disagree, I have played some amazing looking games in 3d and found it to make them much more enjoyable.
Just Cause 2
Dead Rising 2
The Witcher
Bad Company 2
Arkham Asylum
Flat out
Fall Out
Mafia 2
If you have not tried it on a pc, I suggest you do before writing it off.
Scan.co.uk have them for £215 for an acer 24" 1920 x 1080. Not sure where you are from though :)
I bought a 3d setup for my pc a few months back and am very impressed with it, much better than I was expecting.
Don't be tempted by the 1st gen viewsonics and samsungs, they are cheap for a reason.
Quality control needs to improve massively, how could they release Cliffs of Dover in the state it was released?
A higher player count would be nice, 6 vs 6 is boring. 12 vs 12 would make the game so much better
It still has the same 'weightless' handling that has plagued the dirt series, how can it get a perfect score?
You guys must not have played a pc game in 3d if you still disagree, both consoles just don't have the power to 3d well.
Most games are already 720p (if your lucky) and would need to be rendered twice to play in 3d, that means seriously lowering the resolution or graphics detail (most likely both).
nice edit :)
And to the 3 who disagreed, pc 3d wipes the floor with anything a console can do in 3d, and that won't change until we have the next consoles.
On consoles, most pc games are 3d and have been for a while.
The handling has no feel to it, infact the game is just the same as the other dirt games really.
6/10 imo
Im going to buy BF3 because I don't like COD games, I don't really care what anyone else buys.
Do we really need a COD vs BF3 article every day?
If my framerate drops in half it would still 45+, it is not a demanding game.
If you are not happy that the feature is missing, don't buy the game.
I hope its free, the player count is pretty low as it is, splitting it in half would not be a good idea.
Its not like that anymore, well at least if you have an nvidia card, you just press the button on the 3d receiver and the game switches to 3d mode.
Most games play fine in 3d and look great, some don't like flashpoint for example.
