I don't care about GOTY, same as I don't care about which movies win Oscars.
I just play games I enjoy and have fun.
It kind of has an online pass because you would never be able to sell it or buy used.
Not everyone can afford new games, same as not everyone can afford new clothes or furniture.
Its not cool saying don't be cheap when not everyone has the same amount of money as you.
Used "insert any item here" exist because not everyone can afford new stuff. Why should the gaming industry be different and not allow used stuff?
I game on PC and have not been able to trade games for years, I think thats one of the reasons PC games are cheaper.
If they force online passes on console owners, surely they have to lower the price of the game.
You should consider yourself lucky, my 360 sounded like a washing machine on spin :)
90% of the games I buy are DD, I live in the UK and we don't really have download limits like other countries.
I think some services like Steam, Origin, etc should not count towards peoples download limit. Or maybe people with a limit should be allowed to download overnight.
You are correct in saying DD will never replace physical, until the caps are lifted or some services are exempt it will stay that way.
It would be more accurate if they changed the word 'experience' for 'profit'
Maybe because he doesn't own a gaming PC ?
Im also not interested in seeing the console version but I would be if I owned one.
COD, Battlefield, Farcry & Crysis started out on PC and they did ok.
I got the PC version of WAW and got the maps for free.
COD went downhill from there from a PC view because they dropped the free maps and lowered the player count from 25 vs 25 to 6 vs 6 = no sale.
My favourite bike game is any THQ MotoGP game.
Nvidia test the games and tell you how compatible the game is with 3D, if a game is not rated good they tell you which graphics settings to change to make it look better.
E.G They advise to turn of the film grain effect in Left 4 Dead because it renders in 2D and ruins the effect.
Who better to tell you how compatible a game is with Nvidia 3d than Nvidia?
I also can't justify a 3DTV due to lack of content, thats why I went with a 3D monitor for my PC games.
Doesn't BF3 recommend a quad core? that would make an i3 redundant straight away.
My point was Crysis 2 should have supported all the advanced features from day 1.
If this is the way pc games are going its bad news, what would be the point in buying a game on release if the high end features are added later?
Im not going to buy a game, play it, then play it again when they decide to finish it.
I hope everyone does not follow Crytek now and release all versions with equal content then fix the PC version months after release.
That would be bad, especially from someone like ID.
I wonder if the graphics will be as good as the Spectrum version?

Agreed, I miss the days when cod was a serious shooter.
If it had destruction and a higher player count of up to 32 players I would probably buy it.
All COD games after WAW have a low player count (for PC) which sadly does not interest me, and I have been a COD fan since day 1.
I thought it was a bit shit to be honest, the Colin Mcrae games were much better imo
