I couldn't care less about what casuals think, I'm just stating some problems with current games today. I enjoy all kinds of games, new and old, but a person would have to be blind not to notice problems associated with trying to push ancient hardware.
These actually look pretty good, the price tag however, yikes.
If this feature is used, I could see the nextbox failing hard. If the other two companies allowed the use of used games, and microsoft didn't, it would look like a huge negative and I could see a lot of people switching sides. Thats why I hope the other two companies don't join in on the dumbass idea, it would eventually force microsoft to drop the feature.
I don't think so Tim.
I'm actually looking forward to it, an HD Zelda would be interesting.
Well crap, I guess its a good thing I didn't pick up KOF XIII, I'll just pick this game up.
I'm ready for some HD graphics, this generation has had some nice games but they also come with low res textures, 30fps, screen tearing, drops in frame rate, etc.
It is true thou. If microsoft would spend money on some actual studios instead of pointless "exclusive for 1 month dlc and demos" we might actually see some games.
PS4 and Wii U are the only consoles I'm interesting in next gen. Sony and Nintendo have delivered on games while Microsoft has just been mediocre this year, and if the trend continues its only going to get worse. Not to mention the fact that the new xbox is rumored to just be 6x more powerful than the 360, there is no way I'm paying $400+ for something that outdated.
They should definitely not make any more core games, focus 100% on Kinect, make more apps that you have to pay for, and definitely increase the price of xbox live, we should feel honored to pay more for such an outstanding online service. And while they are at it, fill up the dashboard with even more ads, I love those ads. If they do all this, 2012 will be the year of the xbox.
I'm no fan of $15 dollar games, but as long as the standard doesn't become $20, I'm good. I do wonder however if they will try to push $20 for next generation downloadable titles.
Yowzaa.
Another pointless article, oh wait, I'm on n4g.
Knowing Platinum, the story will probably be a joke but the gameplay will be excellent.
Kinect exclusives!!!! I'm so pumped!
What a dumbass idea, they are basically classifying violent games in the same light as cigarettes and alcohol.
It used to be cheap, but for the price it is now, its just an expensive pos. If you want a wheel for your 360 that is actually good, I would recommend the fanatec gt2 or csr wheel. It offers plenty of customization options with wheel settings and offers 900 degrees of rotation. Also it has PS3 and PC compatibility.
You already get the crap of being free, the ads, for a premium price.
This is the game xbox fans have been waiting for.
It is a pretty good game, my only issue was the somewhat stiff controls.
