If this guy thinks a ps3 is noisy, he should have tried having a launch 360, it sounded like a damn industrial fan. And while the slim 360 has lessened the noise, it is still loud unless you install your games to it. Anyways, while I like Sony, I don't like this redesign at all, anyone buying a ps3 should stick to the first slim model because its better quality and not cheaply made; that corrugated top looks awful.

With its current price point, and games that are hardly distinguishable from their ps360 counterparts, no it will not be as successful as the wii. Also, in an effort to thwart nintendo sales, I believe both microsoft and sony will drop the current price of their systems in order to attract potential buyers away from their competitor. We may even see the 3ds effect, where the console was initially overpriced and due to a lack of sales, the price had to be dropped.
I think the pricing is stupid and will come down much like the 3ds after initially overcharging and getting little sales.
If you want to overpay for a current gen system that's your business.
3G model is worthless, people should just buy the wifi version and not use an overpriced data plan.
For that reason, I hope Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure sold like crap to discourage Capcom from ripping people off.
You could probably get a deal like that during black friday.
