I'm sure any smart glass intergration could be done with a Vita or phone and the PSeye could be used in a similar way to kinect (I know its not uber powerful like the xbox cam though), so I would guess that any issues will come from what agreements the companys sign up to with Msoft. Their 'you can't publish on another platform 1st' restriction is already showing they can be a little (lets say) fussy.
I'm enjoying it, so thats all that matters to me. I just wish that anyone playing on-line warzone would realise it has objectives! If you want to complete them you have to work together people!

Ok so no CD playback, does no-one own a stereo any more? I've not felt ours missing anything really. I can stream stuff from my lap top play CD's on my stereo (which has better speakers than my tv) and watch YouTube on my tv. I want to pay games on my games console that's it!

The Sainsburys near my office was selling them on a 1st come 1st served basis regardless of pre-orders! Fortunately I got the last one in the store (that I had pre-ordered) needless to say there will be some pissed off people when they realise they can't pick up what they ordered.

Looks like the disk drive issue is growing to, as its actually happened to someone I know.
Read the article, its states there is a backlog of e-mails if you haven't got an e-mail and can't get on you can just change your password yourself.......if you know what the problem is.
I wasn't aware of the issue until I read this, this morning. It was sorted out in about 2 minutes though when I knew what the problem is.

Has none seen any game play videos? That was a promo, the game play vids look really bad. Awful clipping, bad frame rate etc it's a shame I was looking forward to it but what I've seen of it has put me off.

Funny I thought the opposite, there are loads of zombies on screen but other than that it didn't look great. I watched 15 minutes of yesterday and the clipping was truly awful! When finishing off a combo he knocked the zombie straight through what should have been a solid wall on a number of occasions. Just looks a bit poor which is a disappointment.
Its been known that the Xbox1 needs a day 1 update but that was thought to be just for the new policies, its been confirmed it won't work at all without it, which is different. The PS4 has limited use out of the box which is an improvement but still isn't that much better.
I've said this a few times now, I just don't understand brand loyalty. I know thats what the manufactures are after but you shouldn't buy a product based on what you've had before. If you've owned an xbox previously and enjoyed it great but that shouldn't mean you go straight to the next one when it comes out and the same goes for playstations. You have to look at what it does and how much it costs and go for whichever ticks the most boxes.....surely.
