I am a huge COH fan,(it is my favorite rts) yet there is nothing I have seen that makes me want to get COH2.
While you play your ONE game plus PSN. I'll play my 6000+ titles and the ENTIRE internet, all from the comfort of my living room.
The PS4 could have a steamy cow pie fresh out of the cows arse,(the flies haven't even found it yet),for hardware. And some Sony fanboy will still say how great it is.
You can build a pc for under $400 (unassembled), now in north America with significantly better specs than the ps4, from a online etailer.
It will have the power of of an entry level laptop. I don't expect the power consumption to pass 100 watts. It will still struggle to do 1080p. Mobile OEM's not exactly top of the line.
The countdown STARTS when the game developers get their first usable dev. kit. Add 2 YEARS to that. And that is WHEN the next console launch WILL be. (it takes 2 years to make an "A" title game), consoles needs launch titles. Simple.
8core is possible (counting virtual cores)8000M,weak, meant for notebooks. Will struggle to do 1920 x 1080 on high settings. Unlikely they will use 8800M (yields issue).possibly something in between. memory improvements will help. Still overall better than the 360. but not by a lot.
The 4k was meant for movies not games. P.C.'s can,t do it even, only for screenshots. I'm sure Sony fanboys beg to differ.LOL.
I see the 72 plus (and counting) people who dissagree do not have much tech knowledge.
WOW, Just scroll down and read all the uneducated (sometimes funny, especialy quoting 6 year old articles. ) comments. Thats why they game on consoles with outdated hardware, with 20year old A.I. Note to all, the "next gen" console will be outdaed like the last one and it hasn't been launched yet, with the same crappy 20 year old A.I. The CELL? What a joke. If it's so great, A.I. would be too.
