There are other resolutions between 1080p and 4k. I'd say it will look incredible at 1440p 60/120 fps though. I think 4k is still a bit out-there for usual pc gamers.
A console is an simplified version of a gaming pc, with usually outdated hardware. The ps4 is based on radeon HD7870 which is almost 3 years old. I just bought myself an asus r9 290 dcu2 OC (to go with my i5 3570k) which is about twice the performance of the 7870/ps4 gpu for €270(less than cost of 4 ps4 games) delivered. gta4 is set in the 00,s, gta3 & san andreas, the 90's and vice city in the 80's. I think the next game should be set in the 1970's or maybe the 60's.
