I like almost all Final Fanasy games. VI is my favorite.
That is one game they have not touched for updated graphics, unlike the billions of FFIV version out there... I wonder if VI is too big for SE, lol.
anyway... yeah.. if they ever do decide to update the game, I don't want any 3d shit. Stick to 2d, highly detailed sprites and aim for a super accurate translation, don't dumb the game down in any way. Similar to how I'd like to see a FFVII rema...

funny you say that, because the consoles are getting scraps like Bioshock, the Witcher and BF3... hell.. even Crysis 2 in DX11 makes console versions look like ps2 games.

actually, cheap is 500-1400 imo. after that it's expensive.
future proofing a PC is nothing at all. it takes time and investment. if you're someone like myself who does more than gaming, then the 1400 range is prime and that price range also plays everything at the highest settings minus the obvious 32x msaa and such. lol, however I am an SLI fan so I tend to push the AA and texture settings to the limits.
haha. i guess games will be 100 bucks a pop at least and come with their own terrabyte HDs.
