wow... that took way too long. theres no way localization for such a small game should take months, but what do i know
i think that would be a perfect fit for this game, but 9/11 is such a taboo i doubt they even could put it in without being criminalized.
didnt apple already make a console in the 90s? why fail twice.. but to be honest, i wouldnt be surprised if they stretched their legs out into the gaming market, especially since they have such a firm hold on the portable audio market.
i dont think its a matter of them being opposite (good on one, must suck on other). they're kind of unrelated skills to be honest. I know some really good guitar players that pwn on guitar hero, but i also know really bad guitar players that pwn on guitar hero. to be good at guitar hero, u just have to be good at video games.
sweet deal!! this is great news
if that actually works, thats pretty cool.
why do people think its ugly? i think they're pretty dece. ps im pretty sure europe and na's ps2 greatest hits were different, so the na ones might look different or be called greatest hits still.
im betting its the Team Ico game.
kh3 a wii exclusive? k if it was on wii, they prob put it on ps2. that kinda crushes my hopes of it being on ps3... but my hope will linger on until the day i see it on store shelves.
the ads didnt really take away from the game for me. when u drive around a real city you do see billboards with brands on them as well as vans and buses and stuff with brands painted on the side. as long as its not distracting or too blatantly obvious. maybe it would be too much if dj atomika said something like "drive southeast to the burgerking in under 2 minutes". IMO ingame advertising can be lame, but this game doesnt really excessively shove it in ur face.
wow... 60 mil? thats so much money for a video game. how many games will they have to sell to make even? or is that how much games usually cost, somehow i dont believe they all cost like that.
not to sound fanboyish or anything, but i really dont want kh3 to be on wii. its not even a big deal if people would have to buy a wii to play it cuz wiis arent expensive, but it would just be so different than kh1 & 2. the controls would be totally different and the graphics wouldnt even be that much more impressive than the ps2 games. i dunno, i just get a real kick out of seeing ps2 franchises being brought to the ps3 and blowing me away (final fantasy, metal gear solid, ratchet) with ...
a dev on the "myresistance.com" forums already confirmed that the title is "Resistance 2" with no subtitle. The "United We Fall" was just a title for the article about Resistance 2 in the recent GameInformer.
"...will start shipping to U.S. store shelves beginning on February 12th. "
um... does that mean canada has to wait longer again?
its weird that of all companies, EA is implementing this. I would expect all first party games to have this fully implemented before a huge third party company. too bad i dont talk to anyone on my friends list lol otherwise id be beggin for this. ill be honest im kinda peeved that they could put ingame messaging in this game, but not custom soundtracks. it seems like they could, but maybe they would lose some money in advertising if no one was listening to EA Trax, i dunno just thinking...
wow.. activision sure hates their consumers. first they blocked the patch for ps3 gh3 guitars to work with ps3 rock band, and now theyve sent out all their personal emails? someone over at blizzard is shifting in their seat right now.
woah thats cool! im trying to hold myself back from being excited about an update spurred by these "real/fake" pictures but its getting kinda hard.
looks real to me. someone said that u cant see the psn icon though so it could be fake. but it just shows the game options, friends, and the edge of photos... but i bet thats just cuz u cant access the psn (store, account management) or the internet browser because ur in a game thats probably using the internet. i believe it, but i dont know to expect it at the end of this month.
actually, this is not a first for a fps either. coded arms for psp had randomized sections in the levels and they were different each time you played them.
360 was held back because of hardware problems.
360 survived because it had a year headstart.
ps3 was held back because of the price.
ps3 survived because of pure brand power.
both machines have a lot more going for them as well as other problems [ie: ps3 lack of games], but these are the core things IMO that really affected purchases.
