if thats true, then the ps3 just beat 360 with the online service. now the only thing 360 has against ps3 is the amount of games that use their service, and games period.
how is this news? the moment they finalized the xbox 360, they started designing the next xbox. the same is true with the ps3.
AND not all patents that are published ever get used... so dont think they've already designed what will be in the xbox 3(not 60 ha).
first of all, mgs4 isnt included because of the rumor its going to 360? that sounds like a little bs to me. and wouldnt wii have the most exclusives because the games have to be so different because of the controller? haze and splinter cell could all be ported between 360 and ps3 easily, but i dont think it would be even possible to port mamas cookoff to ps3 and 360.

this article is completely pointless. they said they had no new major titles to announce but they would continue releasing on hd dvd throughout the year. i dont see how this is a nail into the hd dvd coffin. it clearly says they're still supporting the format and that they're releasing movies.
i support blu-ray all the way but come on, this article proves nothing for either side. its what was already known.
sony can start doing that too. they have their own "little" brand of laptops called the vaio. and this article says toshibas is doing this in 2008. this war will be a lot different then. who knows the dwindling ps3 could have skyrocketed, sony could be implementing bluray in all their computers, same with apple. i dont think its fair to say that this will kill bluray because its really no threat whatsoever when we have no idea what the opposition has in store.
