Just because Nintendo has been making Mario and Zelda games since the 80s, that does not mean they do not have variety. I'd take another Zelda game with new and inventive gameplay mechanics over generic shooter #100.
Understandable, because gameplay is what matters, not the graphics.
This video explains why the series lost its magic: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Bungie created a rich sci-fi universe with unique villains. 343 is making generic summer blockbuster movie type games.
Why not just get a computer lmao
Death threats are unacceptable in any case. However, people criticizing poor products should be expected. Companies have a responsibility to deliver a good product to their consumers. Considering Mass Effect Andromeda had a big budget and one of the largest publishers backing it, the quality should have matched. Individual pieces of bitter attacks should not be examined, rather the whole of such attacks should be taken as a representation of customer frustration.
It is inexcusable that a massive developer with the resources that Bioware has, to release a game like this. Japanese developers with a fraction of the budget and manpower put out far more polished games. Having a big budget, AAA game look like it was made by amateurs is laughable. Did the interns at Bioware make the animations? Hell, they could have reused animations from previous games and it would look miles better.
How they choose to design the characters doesn't really matter. However, they aren't being completely faithful to the models the characters are based on. Secondly, from the trailers I've seen, the facial animations for the female characters look exceptionally bad for a major studio production. Especially the main female protagonist, the facial expressions look like a 5th grader worked on them.
People don't buy Nintendo consoles for the graphics, though. They buy them because Nintendo has the best library of exclusives
inb4 downvoted to hell by Sony and Xbox fans
Well I think that's to be expected. No game they make will ever carry the same weight as the name "Grand Theft Auto". At this point, GTA is on the level of Pokemon, Minecraft, and Mario. The series is ubiquitous with video games. Even someone who hasn't touched a game in their life will likely know what Grand Theft Auto is.
I dunno why you guys are so quick to defend them not porting RDR2 to PC. It wouldn't be much of a hurdle at all to port, considering that they already do plenty of development on PCs, and Rockstar being a massive company. Is it really such a bad thing that PC players want to play a game too without dropping a couple hundred bucks on something that will just end up collecting dust? Keep in mind that GTA sold at least 5 million copies on PC. I'll kind of wing this math here, but say all...
Too bad they refuse to behave like the number 1 dev
Call me crazy, but good visuals should not really be limited to stuff like the titles in the list. What about games that have a unique art style, or games that are beautiful because of the colors and designs rather than how many polygons the models have?
I hope this is satire
They warned they would be giving out indefinite bans to hackers, yet people like this author still feel they have to complain. Everyone who runs those illegal mods knows fully well what they are getting into. It would be like if I robbed a store then complained saying "going to jail is ridiculous."
Bro that is a free snake, at least a $30 value.
So my PC version is locked down to what Bethesda wants? That's a load of bullshit
There are some people who actually have the money to spend that also want the best experience.
Good, the American police force is already paranoid enough as it is, we don't need dumbasses amplifying the problem any more. He deserves AT LEAST 5 years in prison for this bullshit, what a way to waste tens of thousands of tax dollars and put people at risk.
Then it wouldn't make sense because the whole basis of Fallout is a parody of 1950s American culture.
They develop objectively good games, but they lack something like what Nintendo has: imagination. Nintendo seems to always change things up when it comes to gameplay, see the evolution of the Mario games or Zelda games. Inventing new things doesn't always work, and I applaud Sony for following the "don't fix what ain't broke" approach. However, at some point, you need to truly innovate, and Nintendo is the only first party dev for consoles that seems to consistently do i...
